Learner Forums



As a class rep you will be expected to attend a variety of meetings, organised by the College.  These include Course Review meetings, Centre Learner Forums and the College Learner Forum.

You'll also be expected to attend class rep training.  You need only attend one training session.  The dates are listed below.  You need to book your place in advance, booking forms are available from the Quality Unit.

Course Review Meetings

Your Curriculum Head will notify you of the specific date, there is one in each semester.  Make you sure you are given enough notice about the day of your meetings, to allow you time to gather opinions on your course from your class.

Semester One Course Review - this will be in January 2012 

Semester Two Course Review - this will be in June 2012

Centre Learner Forums

Each of the four Centres holds a Learner Forum meeting.  These will take place in January 2012.  The forum meetings provide you with the chance to comment on your Department and Centre.

College Learner Forum

This Forum will meet in March 2012.  The forum allows you to expand on your feedback given at the Centre Forums as well as comment on your Campus and the College as a whole.  It includes class reps from all the Centres, with representatives from the Students' Association in attendance as well.
