It can be an expensive time whilst at college, and many people find it hard to juggle the amount of money they have coming in with the amount of money going out. If you think this applies to you, and would like more information on BUDGETING then check out the student budget calculator on the ucas website.

Student Guide to Credit

NUS and the money education charity Credit Action have worked together to produce Credit Crunching: a student guide to credit. This sets out information on all the different types of credit available to students, the pros and cons of each as well as details of how these are usually repaid. There's also a helpful glossary explaining financial terminology and information about sources of help if you should need them.

Financial Concerns

If you ever just feel the need to chat about money worries and how it is affecting you then arrange to see the Student President or a member of staff from the College Guidance Team. They will chat you through any options you may have.  You can also find out about the internal Money Does Matter system to help students who are having financial difficulty linked to being a student, for example having to pay childcare and rent.
