Leaving home and coming to college can for most bring with it a sense of independence
and new found freedom, which perhaps didn't exist before. This can be a difficult and confusing time in your life, particularly
if you are discovering your own sexuality.
There are a few local LGBT
organisations in the area which offer support and also give you the opportunity to make new friends.
