SVS Gold Awards

We are proud to have linked up with Student Volunteering Scotland (SVS) which allows us to offer the most prestigious awards for volunteering by students in Scotland - the SVS Gold Awards!

These awards are sponsored by Volunteer Development Scotland and provided with support from Awards for All.

What are Gold Awards?

Gold Awards are the only national accreditation of student volunteering in Scotland.  They allow the Students' Association the opportunity to recognise the achievements of their student volunteers, including class reps, depute class reps and student officers.  The awards highlight the outstanding contributions of a select number of student volunteers.

Nationally Recognised, Locally Owned

Gold Awards are officially recognised by a certificate that include the Student Volunteering Scotland logo and are signed by the Chair of Student Volunteering Scotland.  The certificate also includes the College logo and signed by the College Principal.

A Prestigious Award

Gold Awards are a mark of excellence, and reward only the most deserving student volunteers.  We can award up to three Gold Awards in each academic year.  These Awards will be made to those students who are the real "movers and shakers" within the College, those who have helped shape the future of our society.  Gold Awards are truly prestigious and are reserved for those who truly stand out.
